Jordan Rochefort [North Of Autumn] Blog

Hey guys, North of Autumn has been pretty busy the last few months working on our first full length album, “Confluence”. Being in the studio always inspires me to really push myself and see what I’m capable of pulling off on the drums. It’s also really fun to work on all the auxiliary percussion. Making electronic drum loops, using sleigh bells with crazy effects on them, vibra slappin, and playin’ on some congas, it’s a great chance to get creative and throw down some of the the crazy rhythms that play inside a drummers head.  All of the guys in the band have worked extremely hard and have completely blown me away with face melting guitar solos and groovin’ bass lines, most of which were written on the spot in the studio. We have 14 great tracks picked out for the album and I’m really happy with the way it is turning out. Be sure to visit North of Autumn on Facebook or www.northofautumn.com for upcoming events and news. Keep checking out the Masters of Maple site for more artist blogs, and of course, KEEP ON DRUMMING!
