Hello world,

So this has been a long time coming, and let me start off by saying thank you to all my artists, crew, family, and dear friends [that includes customers and our loyal supporters]. Without you, none of this would be as meaningful. The web site project has been underway for well over a year, or should we call it the re-building project? Long story short we had two web developers hold our site hostage, and I am happy to say it is not because we didn’t hold up our end of the bargain. I will not mention any names, but I am using the lesson learned to forge ahead. That seems to be the theme as of late. This past year and a half has been very trying to say the least: we have experienced everything from expansion, to the loss of a crew member and dear friend: and everything in between.

I assure you that we are working away, and making great strides. The future is bright for us, and I am excited again, I feel as a company we are where we need to be. In life it is easy to lose focus, however I have had to make some very important decisions in regards to our production, and distribution models. In order to preserve the integrity of our product, and masters of maple itself, these changes had to be made, and the process needed to be organic. This entailed everything from revamping the logo and slogan [the most hated drum company.. explanation to come shortly]  a new lug, new building and finishing techniques, re evaluation of literally everything on the drums, new addition to our team…. Etc.

I will stop rambling now, but point is we are going to be back on line shortly with all of our media outlets including but not limited to; web site, facebook, twitter, myspace, and this blog, that will integrate with our site. I hope to have artists on tour guest blog, as well as some of our industry friends tackle topics ranging from tuning, to booking shows. This is going to be a fun way to keep a strong sense of community, as well as a personal connection. I will also have some of our crew members blog occasionally on happenings, thoughts, rants, etc.
