Here is one of my personal favorites…. YES it does have a special story like so many of these drums do. When Mark Goodwin from Sick Puppies apporached me about doing a new wood ply snare drum we had to make sure it was as uniqe as Mark’s style, and the pups. So i used another one of the tricks i had up my sleeve.

First off Paul one of our loggers got this magnificent Frake in from Germany. The wood was so unusualy goreous, i couldn’t wait to use it. Having said tha, we had to do something to the finish to make it pop out even more. So i crused up fresh raspberries in order to achieve the correct hue of red. After shooting some candy black i also incorporated our new exotic glass finishes in the lacquer to make it have that ncie sparkle. To top it off i hand brushed all of the hardware to give it even more depth.

I am honored to build mark another beast, and even happier that each drum is still so unique, and tells such a great story.
